- Discuss possible recruitment activities and other events
- Speeches by a gubernatorial candidate (Tom Emmer) and two Minnesota Legislature candidates (William Paulsen and Dave Kruse). Candidate speeches and Q&A will begin at about 5:50 if you’re only interested in that portion of the meeting.
- Book swap: If you have political books or other materials you’d like to share, bring them along.
Motorhome Diaries is visiting Mankato from 7 – 10 pm at The Hub (University Square at Warren and Stadium). Motorhome Diaries travels the U.S. talking with libertyphiles about promoting a return to voluntary, non-authoritarian society. This is an informal event; you do not need to come for the whole time. They will share a bit about what MHD is about, learn what’s going on in the area in terms of advancing the freedom movement and hopefully create some synergy and share ideas.
As some of you are aware, my recent letter to the editor on health care in response to J. Scott Urban was published on September 11. Both letters were published on campaignforliberty.com: Health care is unequivocally not a right. Urban’s reply is published in today’s Free Press here. Please read it and send in your own letters to the editor; we need to show strong support for constitutionally-permissible market-based health care reforms and strong opposition to further government expansion into our lives and livelihoods.
