Mankato Liberty member Dave Kruse has organized a GOP Candidates Meet-and-Greet at the WOW! Zone in Mankato on Thursday, January 28, from 6 – 7 p.m. Each candidate (gubernatorial, congressional, auditor, state legislature, etc.) will have time to introduce themselves, talk about their campaigns, and visit with individuals. (Note: No endorsement of any candidate or party is made or implied.)
Don’t miss your local caucus! It will be held Tuesday, February 2, at 7 p.m. To save time on caucus night, look up your precinct now, write it down, and bring it with you to your caucus location (varies by party and your street address). The caucus will run 1-2 hours.
Caucus attendees participate in a candidate straw poll, elect delegates to the county convention, and may propose changes to the party platform. If you wish to participate in the endorsement of candidates or vote on changes to the platform, party constitution, or elect party officers, you will need to become a delegate.
